Charles Johnson
Storyteller
Charles is retired from M.T.A. after thirty five (35) years service. He is a Lay Leader at the New Waverly United Methodist Church, a husband and father of teenage twins.
As a young man his grandfather and his father would tell stories to him, now he tells stories to the young and old.
Griots storyteller he has told stories at libraries, churches and other events thought out Maryland. Stories that range from African Folk Lore, about animals, hard times and good times for Black Americans.
He writes many of the stories he tells, in his unique fashion.
Many of his stories are mixed with true facts and real people.
